BATTLE CREEK, MI
NOV 23&24
Greetings from the Wolverine State & Happy Holidays!  This is Thanksgiving
week which means I'm tired and still full from 7 different kinds of turkey.
I've had fried turkey, baked turkey and even turkey jerky.  I'm a turkey
eating mo'fo. Now... bring on the Christmas cookies!!
This weekend I'm working in Battle Creek,
home of
Kelloggs Cereal.  The company was
named for
W.K. Kellogg, the founder. B.C. is
a cool little town with not much to do, but
each time I've been here it's been enjoyable.
Of course, it's a lot more windy and cold
here than it was in Floyds Knobs, but perfect
to get me in the mood for the holidays.
I'm working at Gary Fields Comedy Club.  Gary is
a really cool guy who has a deep understanding
of the stand up comedy business. As a result,
the club is run great. The comics are hooked up
with a nice greenroom with free food and drink
all weekend. The
hot wings here are legendary
and some of the best I've ever had.  In the
past, the audiences are usually pretty
responsive, but this week have been a little
tight. I guess the holiday cheer hasn't quite
reached them yet.
This weekend turned out to be a decent time.
Now, I'm getting ready to go to bed so I can
get a few hours sleep before I drive home
early in the morning. The next couple of weeks
I'm working some holiday parties which will
take a lot of time to prepare for.  With that
said, I'll see you again at the South Bend
Funny Bone.

Happy Holidays...
Danny  :-)
