Tuesday, I headlined in Topeka, Kansas at Jerimiah Bullfrogs. I've been to Topeka many times and it's always fun. I was pretty tired from being on the road all last week so I slept during the day and left as soon as the show was over. It was a 9 hour drive back home to Floyds Knobs across I-70, one of the most boring interstates in America. I did get excited while following a Pabst truck. I briefly thought about hijacking him...
Thursday and Friday I worked on the campus of Indiana University. It was my first time working on campus which was a lot of fun. Thursday was the Hoosier Den in Foster Quad and Friday was the Memorial Union. The Union is a beautiful building which also serves as a hotel for campus guests. There weren't many people in either of the shows but it was fun anyways.
Saturday's show was at Bear's Place. Last time I was here it was a little crazy, but both shows on Saturday night went great. I didn't sell any merchandise but was able to have a few drinks on the house. As a result of my "few" drinks, I had to spend some time in the bathroom with some very rough toilet paper. Ouch! Until next week Danny :-)
