Greetings from the Keystone State!  This weekend I'm in Pennsylvania and it's
somewhat bittersweet.  I enjoy driving through PA but I'm not getting paid jackshit this
weekend so I'm losing money on gas.  Welcome to Showbusiness kid...
One of the best things about driving through
this state is the mountains.  It doesn't
matter what time of year it is, the view is
always awe-inspiring, but hard on my gasoline
budget.  Harrisburg is the state capital and
is located in the Eastern part of the state,
about 90-miles away from Baltimore. However,
I drove there from Floyds Knobs, which is
A
LOT
further and explains my lack of gasoline
funds.
($3.25/g in PA this week.)
The club, The Comedy Zone, is located in the
hotel which is cool.  It's nice to be able
to just "stumble" down the hallway rather
then to your vehicle.  I was pleasantly
surprised by the audiences this weekend.
They were welcoming and great laughers.
However, they didn't purchase much of my
merchandise.  I guess with gas prices so
high, people don't wanna pay $15 for a KNOBS
T-shirt.
Harrisburg was a great time but I'm afraid
I'll never come back unless I can make more
money. Between high gas prices, a low weekend
salary and paying
$20 in road tolls, it's
simply not worth my time.  The audiences were
wonderful and the staff was friendly so that
helped make things more enjoyable.
This weekend was also my last as a single
man. In one week, June 9, I'm getting married
to my girl, Mander.
Good times.

Until "after the hunnymoon..."
Danny :-)
$20...YIKES
THAT'S $15 THAT HE DIDN'T SPEND ON BEER
