JOHNSON CITY, TN
JANUARY 9-13
Greetings from the Volunteer State!  This week has been somewhat hectic for
a variety of reasons, mainly one of my nights "fell-out" and I lost out on
some much needed money.  Also, I got ANOTHER stomach virus that caused some
unwanted discomfort for the weekend.  The good news, the weather has been
fairly nice and gas prices cheap.
The week started in Clarksville, TN on
Tuesday, which is the home of Fort
Campbell. Located both in Tennessee and
Kentucky, Fort Campbell is home to the
only Air Assault Division in the world.
It's always exciting for any comedian
to perform in front of our troops and
this show was no different.  The show
went off without a hitch and everybody
had a good time.
Wednesday and Thursday I had off.  I
was supposed to work Thursday but that
night got cancelled.  I'm still not sure
why, all I know is it cost me almost
$200.  The good news is, I was close
enough to home that I could sleep in my
own bed for a few nights.  On Friday, I
got up and drove to Johnson City which
is in Eastern Tennessee, close to
Bristol.  I drove through the foothills
of the Appalachians, which is beautiful
country.
As far as the weekend goes, the shows
were a lot of fun.  Both shows on
Saturday night were sold out and
everybody seemed to have a great time.
Unfortunately, I had a 48-hour disease
that pretty much kept me in bed the
entire weekend.  Not that staying in bed
is a bad thing, but it kinda is when you
have the diarrhea & vomits.  The drive
home tomorrow should be quite
interesting.
Until next week...
Danny :-)
