PORT CHARLOTTE, FL
JULY 19-21
Greetings from The Sunshine State!  It's always exciting to be in Florida.
This week is extra fun because my girl, Mander, was able to come along for the
ride.  We drove over-night and it took us 15-hours to get here from Floyds
Knobs, not including the times we pulled over to take naps & buy beer.
Port Charlotte, FL is located in the
SW part of the state, about an hour
North of Fort Myers.  It's not really a
booming tourist town, but more of a
place where
snowbirds come to live
during the winter. I'm working in a
really nice club located in a restaurant
called Visani. The staff is friendly and
the audiences are ready to laugh.
This week is pretty much a working
vacation for me. After expenses, I'm not
really making any money, but did find out
that I get
free meals at the club.  I
tried the Mahi-Mahi which was very good.
Mander and I went to the beach for a
little bit for a day of hunting seashells.
Turns out, I found most of them later
when I took off my
speedo.
Overall, this week was good times.  I
had good shows and sold-out of
merchandise, which came in handy with
high gas prices. Mander and I managed
to go to the beach twice and not get
sun-burnt. And, I scored some mega-cool
shades.  Definitely, Visani's is worth
a stop in for dinner and a show if your
ever in town.
Until next week...
Danny :-)
