SIOUX CITY, IA
SEPT. 5-9
(INCLUDES MINNESOTA & SOUTH DAKOTA)
Greetings from Iowa!  This week I am driving all over the upper-midwest,
including Walker, Minnesota and Aberdeen, South Dakota.  Although the places
I'm working are fairly nice, there is LOTS of driving involved which is never
good.  It is made a little easier though with current gas prices dropping down
to $2.27 per gallon!
On Tuesday I performed at a small
Indian Casino in Walker, which is
located in north-central Minnesota.
It's a pretty long drive but an
enjoyable trip.  The hotel is nice &
attached to the casino.  The show,
however, is a different story.  We
performed on a stage right in the
middle of the casino.  There were 8
people in the audience and two of them
were waiting for their husbands to get
out of the bathroom.
On Wednesday I drove 6-hours to Aberdeen,
South Dakota.  I've written about this room
in a
previous Chronicle.  It's a nice
little club located in the basement of a
huge hotel.  The show went fairly well,
although the audience was super tight for
the first 10 minutes of my performance.
Overall though, things were fine...except
for my shower head being a tad low.
 The weekend brought Pepperoni's Comedy
Club in Sioux City.  I always enjoy coming
to this town, however it does have a
somewhat offensive odor.  (Thus the
nickname, "Sewer City.")  The club had
changed locations since last time I was here
and the shows were in a bowling alley
lounge.  It's not near as bad as it sounds &
I ended up having a pretty good time & I
almost broke 100 when Mander & I went
bowling.  (I almost broke my leg too!)

Until next week
Danny :-)
