TULSA, OK
FEBRUARY 15-17
Greetings from the Sooner State!  This week I have been working in
Arkansas and Oklahoma.  I was fairly excited to begin this week because I've
never worked in Oklahoma and am always eager to visit someplace new.  Not to
mention, working this far south usually means I'm not going to get stuck in
snow.  However, that's not
always the case...
My work week began on Thursday in Ft.
Smith, Arkansas.  It was your typical
one nighter and was pretty uneventful.
A cool tidbit I did learn was that
Outlaws Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker
hid out at a local tourist court in
1933, after a car accident in which
Bonnie was severely burned.  I guess
they were going faster than the posted
speed limit.
For the weekend I've been working in
Tulsa, OK, which is located on the
Arkansas River and is the "Oil Capital of
the World." Oil was discovered here in
1901. The city's population grew tenfold
over the next two decades.  I had high
hopes for this weekend but am sorry to say
I was very let down.  The crowds in this
room were very light and not very
responsive at all.
THE HARDEST LAUGHER IN THE ROOM!
I gotta say that I've never been so
excited to leave someplace in my life.
The shows this week sucked and I
definetly earned my paycheck.  The
coolest part of the entire week was
staying in a hotel room with my favorite
number!  Which is good, cause I definetly
want to forget about the stress of this
weekend...

Until next week...
Danny :-)
