VARIOUS CITIES
FEB. 13-16
 Greetings from all over the South. It's been a couple of weeks since I last
wrote. In that time, I've worked in Knoxville, Tennessee and had my first TV
audition in Nashville.  Things went well at the audition, BUT, I'm still
waiting to hear back from the producers...
This week is interesting cause I'm riding
with another comic, Brad Scott. We are
working in North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio,
and West Virginia. The first night is Mt.
Airy, NC, which is the town that Mayberry was
based on. The show went okay...we had a BAD
heckeler & generally crazy people in the
audience. As soon as the show was over, we
hauled ass.
Our Thursday was in Roanoke, VA, and proved to be
a little better because of Valentines Day.
Roanoke is a cool little city & the show was sold
out, but most of the audience was old and
unresponsive. It was kind of a letdown. Good news
is that I made fun of a guy who owns his own BBQ
place and he had us out the next day for free
food! He also hung one of my shirts on the wall
of his establishment.
Friday we had a midnight show at Ohio University
which went GREAT. Brad got a parking ticket from
the campus police which I promptly ripped up on
stage. We then drove all night to Kingwood, WV to
work at a shithole called The Tallyho. The manager
had good intentions but this place sucked. Some
guy told Brad he had a pretty mouth and another
inbred wanted to kick my ass afterwards. Needless
to say, we're leaving tonight to get back to
Indiana.  At least the rednecks there don't want
to beat & butt-sex us.
