WILKES-BARRE, PA
JANUARY 24-27
Greetings from the Keystone State!  The past several days have been quite
the adventure.  The week started in Bluefield, WV and ended in Wilkes-Barre,
PA. The weather has been crazy cold this week here in the North-East,  but
other than that it's been good times.  Except for my frost-bitten face.
As I mentioned, on Wednesday I worked
at a Holiday Inn in Bluefield, WV.  It
was your typical "one-niter" and was
pretty uneventful.  The next day I
worked at Penn State-Hazleton, my very
first college as a professional
comedian.  PSH is located about
20-minutes South of Wilkes-Barre and is
an extension of Penn State.  They have a
beautiful campus and everyone is very
friendly.
Since it was my first time working a
college, I was a bit nervous.  The show
took place in the cafeteria & the students
were unresponsive at first.  In fact, I
think the only reason they were there in
the first place was for the free chicken
nuggets.  After 20-minutes or so everyone
loosened up, including me, and we all
ended up having a great time.
For the remainder of the weekend I was
in Wilkes-Barre and had a great time.  It
was a lot more fun than
the first time I
was here.  The audiences laughed a lot
with me & the headliner Joey Kola. I even
took a walk and discovered some really
neat houses.  To bad it was so cold I
couldn't feel my legs.
Until next week...
Danny :-)
ONE COLD KITTY!
DON'T FORGET THE CHICKEN NUGGETS...
